The GI SPL 45/55 Splitting Machine is suitable for many kinds of leather goods. It has also been used in other industries to split different types of materials such as plastics, felt, composites, and more. It is available in two different sizes, 450 mm or 550 mm, depending on your needs. The thickness of the cutting can be varied from as little as 0.1 mm up to 8 mm. The speed of the feed roller can be varied to the speed of your choice as long as it is between 0 and 25 meters/min. There is also a digital thickness indicator, and a device that signals the difference in thickness between the guide bar and the roller.
