The 985 150/300 Strip cutters are used by shoe factories and many other leather goods manufacturers to produce strips of leather, imitation leather, canvas, and rubber, along with many other materials. Specially made spacer rings located on the upper roller determine the width of the strips. This roller can be easily slid in and out and therefore quickly replaced when cuts of different widths are required with no need to readjust the rings. The height of the lower nylon roller is adjustable so as to allow more even wear and tear at the cutting points of the blades, thus preventing frequent replacement, which will result in considerable savings. The machine comes in two versions: 985 150 which allows for 150mm of usable space, and supplies a 0.5hp motor with clutch or the 985 300 which allows for 300mm of usable space, and supplies a 1.0hp motor with clutch.
