The GI SC75C is a skiving machine that is specifically useful for delicate or soft materials. A special feature on this machine is that the bell knife is shaft driven directly from the motor, which greatly lessens any vibrations that could otherwise be caused by belts, and pulley systems. Transport is provided by a second D.C. motor, which also utilizes direct drive, and allows for a variable speed setup ranging from 0 to 80 cm/sec. Another special feature on this machine is that it allows for reverse rotation of the transport roll; this is used for the splitting of the terminal parts of belts and straps of shoulder belts. The machine comes supplied with a vacuum system. Also, if requested, the machine can be supplied with a 34mm transport roll.
