This generation of automatic cutting presses takes advantage of a sturdy mechanical structure joined with a sophisticated system of continuous control (CNC) of recent technology.
The upper frame structure allows the trolley to move across the side support of the basement. It allows adopting a device to eject the cut parts outside the working area.
The operation panel, which was developed in Windows for personal computer, makes any single control - executive and functional - interactive and easily comprehensible. For example, a graphical guide that illustrates the meaning of any introduced value eases the programming.

ATF
roller feeder

Due to its small size, this version is ideal for places where there is little space. It is also the best choice when feed times have to be very short, since positioning occurs without idle movements. The large upper roller opening allows up to 120 millimeters of material to be loaded. The opening and closing of the upper roller is achieved using two pneumatic cylinder which ensure easy control even from the operating station and also improve material grip. An adjustable mechanical end stop (optional) prevents excessive pressure and the risk of damaging the material itself.

ATF x2
double roller feeder

Besides the typical functions of a roller feeder, with this configuration there is the additional advantage of "pulling" the die-material in step with the push of the rear roller. The front feeder may even be held open during the automatic cycle if required. The opening and closing of the upper roller is achieved using two pneumatic cylinders which ensure easy control even from the operating station and also improve material grip. An adjustable mechanical end stop prevents excessive pressure and the risk of damaging the material itself.

AST
table feeder

Mobile table feed is ideal for material in sheets, i.e. with limited width (up to 2.2 meters). This configuration allows the whole surface of the material to be die-cut since the table itself crosses the cutting area right up to the grippers located along the real edge of the material. Alternatively, instead of the rear grippers, it is possible to use two cross bars (as in the AGF version) placed behind and in front of the cutting zone. Typical cycle: Loading stage - the table moves out front-wards in order to leave the loading area free. Die-cutting stage; the table draws completely back, the die-cutting and feed stage starts and continues until work is complete, then the table comes out completely so that the scrap material can be removed and the table reloaded.

AGF
gripper feeder

This version solves the typical problem of material that moves sideways during feed, particularly when it consists of several layers. The gripper is coupled to a conveyor belt that supports the material during movement. Thanks to the mechanical closing and opening adjustment, the mobile gripper pushes along the whole width of the material without damaging it and applies the minimum pressure necessary to prevent imprecise feed steps; optionally, the grippers can be widened to 140 mm in order to press along a greater surface thus preventing the characteristic "sinking" of spongy materials. Typical cycle: Material feed stage; mobile gripper closed, fixed gripper open. Mobile gripper repositioning stage; mobile gripper open, fixed gripper closed. Optionally, a second fixed gripper may be located in front of the cutting area in order to hold back the scrap die-cut material while the operator unloads.

AGF/S
gripper feed plus extractable table

With this configuration, the machine manages to combine the advantages of a mobile table for die-cutting material in sheets with the flexibility of a mobile gripper system (AGF) for material in rolls. The table is inserted into the machine and fixed to the mobile gripper in order to make the extraction operation extremely quick. When the machine is working in GRIPPER mode, the table is extracted and rests on a carriage with retractable wheels, which is used as a support when the machine works in TABLE mode. There are dual controls on the carriage, which supports the table with connector, which enables their operation. Optionally, a second fixed gripper may be located in front of the cutting zone in order to hold back the die-cut material scrap while the operator unloads the machine.

COMMON CHARACTERISTICS OF THE VARIOUS MACHINES

The use of European components increases robustness and means a strong worldwide distribution network; the component manufacturers include SIEMENS, TELEMECANIQUE, H+L and CHIORINO.

EQUIPMENT COMMON TO ALL MACHINES

Automatic off-centre block movement in order to use its surface to the full. Adjustable control desk with easy-read display in the language required. Digital die-cutter power adjustment shown on display.
The die-cutter support guides may adjusted to the thickness of the be support plate whether this be made of metal or wood; it has quick-locking and support extension to make its insertion easy. Front horizontally pivoted shelf assisted by two dampers to make it easy both to unload the die-cut pieces and to adjust the mobile carriage and test the cut manually.
